While we are navigating through the summer months in 2021 there remains a continuing feeling of uncertainty about how our social service includes the highly valued human connection experienced by Rotary participants in the past. Even though the "hands facing space" principle is certainly a an integral part of our routine There's no doubt the faith in Rotary is growing, and more people are making contact with each other. Rotary is indeed changing. In the months leading up to summer 2021, it is unclear how we will provide service to the community that includes the valued human connection valued by Rotary members of old. Although the phrase "hands-in-space" is undoubtedly part of our routines, it is evident that confidence is growing and we are able to make more personal relationships. Rotary's changing. Rotary network is a great way to make lasting friendships. In addition to our meetings that are online to conduct business and social interactions, we've brought back the concept of social interaction and service using a safe face-to-face format. New possibilities were accompanied by the best practices for preventing pandemics to provide a fresh and bright future for Rotary. It is incredible to see how our members have developed innovative solutions to some of the most difficult challenges. I'm so grateful for the fact that Rotary gave me the chance to become a member in 2002. Rotary also has provided me with a great network of friends who have a similar outlook. I am grateful for this.
